Greetings! I’m Amy, and I am a teacher, a naturalist, and an author.

For over 20 years I have been partnering with teachers, community members and families to help create opportunities for all children to connect to the natural world. I co-founded ECO - Educating Children Outdoors, a nature-based immersion program for public schools at North Branch Nature Center. I am also the author of a forthcoming book about the success of nature-based education in public schools to be published in 2024 by Cornell University Press.  I live in northern Vermont.
